Can You Trust Betting Tips and Should You Follow Sports Betting Tipsters?

Why do tipsters take the time to add betting tips? 

I suspect it is partly fuelled by our egos. 

We want to be successful tipsters and to be feted as an expert in whatever sport we tip on.

The word ego is from the Latin and literally means I 

We tend to use the word ego in a derogatory way as a person's sense of self-esteem or self-importance. 

But self-esteem can be a good trait if it doesn't overflow into bragging.

Because we want to be seen and treated in a high esteem manner by our peers then we look to impart information to others that lead them to the conclusion that we are a person worth investing time in.

Since 2003 on OLBG we have encouraged members to add this information so that readers can benefit and the individual tipster can enhance his status and self-esteem.

We have also spent a great deal of time advising readers on how to find winners.

On top of this, we reward tipsters who add this helpful information through monthly cash prizes. (6k + each month!!)

So we tip because of

• 1. The Rewards.
• 2. The desire for self-esteem.
• 3. To receive praise and adulation from our peers.

We know that members are doing their damndest to add the best tips. Some members may add tips for the rewards, some for the self-esteem and some for the adulation, or possibly for all 3 reasons.

• Who doesn't want to win free money?
• Who doesn't want their ego massaged?

I certainly like both!!
