Talk is ramping up already ahead of next year's Oscars Ceremony and the Best Actor award has already been priced up by bookmakers.

Austin Butler is the 15/8 favourite in the betting market for the Best Actor award for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in film Elvis.

Paddy Power have made Butler favourite for his performance of Elvis, with rave reviews given for Butler and the film in general.

The Fabelmans is 4/1 to be the Best Picture at next year's awards

The Fabelmans is currently the 4/1 favourite to be 2023's Best Picture at the Oscars.

Steven Spielberg directs the movie in what is a semi-autobiography based on Spielberg's younger life growing up in Arizona.

The film is set to debut at the Toronto Film Festival in September so it will be interesting to see the reception it gets there.

At the moment though according to the betting odds, The Fabelmans has a 20% chance of winning Best Picture at next year's Oscars.

When is the 2023 Oscars ceremony?

Next year's Academy Awards will be highly anticipated after Will Smith's attack on Chris Rock at this year's show.

The 2023 Oscars Ceremony is set to be held on March 12th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Nominations for the show are scheduled to be announced on January 24th and that will be when the hype ramps up.

Will Smith will not be at the show after being banned from all Academy events for the next 10 years.

It's yet to be announced if Chris Rock will make an appearance.
