Aaron Taylor-Johnson still odds-on to be the next James Bond as market reopens
With still no announcement on who will be the next James Bond the betting market has now been reopened with UK Betting Sites on who will grab the iconic role next.
Long-time favourite Aaron Taylor-Johnson remains top of the market at 2/5 to be the next Bond with the latest odds giving a 71.4% implied probability that he gets the role.
Reports in The Sun earlier this year said that Taylor-Johnson has been "formally offered" the job as Bond with expectation that he will accept playing the famous movie character.
That report though was all the way back in March and the fact that there has still not been a clear announcement has left question marks around whether he has accepted starring as the iconic spy.
William Hill's latest betting market though puts him well clear of any other in terms of probability of being Bond and it will be interesting to see if that changes in the coming days.

Both James Norton and Henry Cavill have been favourites to play Bond in the past and they both appear near the top of the betting odds once again here.
Taron Egerton had been a new addition to the betting odds all the way back in July and he continues to feature as third favourite for the role which comes after his previous spy experience in the Kingsman franchise.
