Florence Pugh is now the 2/1 favourite to be the next Bond Girl with new movie set to be announced
British actress Florence Pugh is the 2/1 favourite with bookies to star as one of the biggest roles in the new James Bond movie with the iconic Bond Girl role still up for grabs.
Pugh, 28, has stormed into global stardom as an actress with big roles in Black Widow, Oppenheimer and Don't Worry Darling as well as an Oscar-nominated performance in Little Women.
It's unsurprising therefore that she features in the betting odds to be the next Bond Girl as she could be one of the biggest names that Bond producers could get to star in the role.
Those odds say that there's a 33% chance that Pugh will be the next Bond Girl with the current market putting her well clear of the other contenders that have been linked.
Next Bond Girl | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Florence Pugh | 2/1 | 33.3% |
Sydney Sweeney | 7/2 | 22.2% |
Jodie Comer | 4/1 | 20.0% |
Maya Jama | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Michelle Keegan | 11/2 | 15.4% |
Emma Mackey | 11/2 | 15.4% |

Michelle Keegan added to the market after her husband Mark Wright says she could become a Bond Girl
Michelle Keegan has been a new addition to the next Bond Girl betting market after being hyped up by husband Mark Wright earlier this week.
Wright told Heart Radio that 36-year-old Keegan doesn't feel like she'd have a chance to get the role but said, "when you think about it ... why not?"
Keegan's recent role in Netflix series 'Fool Me Once' has seen her status as an actress grow massively and it may be the big step she needs before Hollywood beckons.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson will reportedly be the next James Bond
Recent reports have said that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be the new James Bond with the British actor constantly topping the betting market in the next two years.
Taylor-Johnson had reportedly filmed screen tests back in 2022 in front of the Bond Producers at Pinewood Studios in Berkshire and it looks likely that the 33-year-old will get the role.
Betting has been suspended now on who will get the role with bookies clearly thinking that it's just a matter of time until Taylor-Johnson is announced as the next Bond.
