David Seaman and his wife Frankie Poultney are 1/2 to be Pillar and Post on the Masked Dancer
Former Footballer David Seaman and his wife Frankie Poultney are 1/2 with bookies to be Pillar and Post in the new series of The Masked Dancer with the show going into week 3.
Betway have the pair as favourite in a betting market that has since been SUSPENDED due to the popularity of the couple according to viewers.
Seaman and pro-skater wife Poultney met when Seaman appeared on the Dancing On Ice Tour back in 2008.
12 contestants will appear on the show with eight episodes set to air over the coming weeks.
The list of Dancers this season are:
- Cactus
- Candlestick
- Odd Socks
- Onomatopoeia
- Pearly King
- Pig - OUT - Joanna Page
- Pillar and Post
- Praw Cocktail
- Scissors
- Sea Slug
- Tomato Sauce
- Astronaut - OUT - Jesse Metcalfe
Pearly King remains a popular figure on the show and the betting market is lengthy for this Dancer
Pearly King has been one of the more intriguing dancers on this season of the Masked Dancer and we have a new favourite this week.
Danny Dyer has emerged as the 5/2 favourite to be Pearly King ahead of last week's favourite Mark Wright who remains 9/2 in the market.
Joe Swash is third favourite at 5/1 with bookies clearly thinking it'll be a cheeky chappie who will be unmasked as Pearly King.
Masked Singer is due to return next year
The Masked Singer is due to return early next year with ITV recommissioning the series for a 4th and 5th time earlier in 2022.
Season 3 was aired in January and February of 2022 with Natalie Imbruglia the winner as "Panda" in the series.
We should therefore see Season 4 air around a similar time in 2023 with a New Year's Day premiere date looking likely.
It's likely that Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross will appear on the panel again but it's unconfirmed who will join them, with Peter Crouch currently on the Masked Dancer panel.
