Switzerland are the latest favourites to win the Eurovision Song Contest

Betting has one again changed around for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest with Switzerland now moving into 2/1 favourites with UK Betting Sites to win the event in May.

Swiss singer Nemo will be representing their country with the song "The Code" which is a masterpiece of musicality with opera, pop and rap all rolled into one.

The song is the ultimate example of a Eurovision banger and it's no surprise to see bookmakers shorten Nemo's price into favourite to win the Song Contest.

William Hill's latest market sees Switzerland sit as favourites in the odds list ahead of Croatia who had been top of the market for the past two months.

Croatia had shortened into favourites in recent weeks but now drift out in the market

Croatia have drifted in the market from 5/2 favourites to 10/3 after Switzerland continued to move in the betting market in the past week.

Baby Lasagna will perform at Eurovision this year for Croatia with the song  'Rim Tim Tagi Dim' which won the 2024 'Dora' in Croatia which chooses their representative.

Croatia's latest odds now give an implied probability of 23% that they win Eurovision this year with those odds putting them behind Switzerland.

United Kingdom will be represented by Years and Years singer Olly Alexander

The United Kingdom will this year be represented by Years and Years singer Olly Alexander and they sit at 20/1 to win the Song Contest next month.

Alexander has started his promotional tour for the song 'Dizzy' which will see him looking to do better than Mae Muller last year who finished 25th out of 26.

The British singer will be hoping that the song continues to build up traction with the latest views putting it low down in the overall entry list currently.
