Croatia have now shortened into 5/2 favourites to win the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest

We now have a new betting favourite in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest winner market with Croatia now slashed from 25/1 into 5/2 in the past month.

Croatia will be represented by Baby Lasagna who won their 2024 edition of 'Dora' which chooses who will represent the country at the Song Contest each year.

Rim Tim Tagi Dim stormed the Dora final winning the competition for Baby Lasagna with a total of 321 points putting the song clear of second place by more than 200 points.

With more than a three million total YouTube views already for the song and viral sounds going out on TikTok around it too, this has seen UK Betting Sites now shorten it into favourite to win.

William Hill's latest odds now suggest a 28% chance that Croatia win Eurovision, putting the country ahead of Ukraine and Italy in the latest betting market.

Ukraine had shortened into favourites to win Eurovision for the second time in 3 years

Ukraine had previously shortened into favourites to win Eurovision back in February, but their odds have since drifted out to second favourite after Croatia's popularity had risen.

Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil won the vote to represent Ukraine at the Song Contest in May this year and the country are looking to win Eurovision for the second time in three years.

The duo will sing 'Teresa & Maria' at the famous song contest which they say is about, "the importance of unity for significant actions and victories."

United Kingdom will be represented by Years and Years singer Olly Alexander

Olly Alexander will be the United Kingdom's representative at this year's Eurovision Song Contest and he is now 16/1 to win this year's event.

Alexander officially revealed his song Dizzy four days ago and it has already racked up more than 700,000 views on the Eurovision Song Contest's YouTube channel.

The UK entrant will be hoping the song gets popular around Europe ahead of the Song Contest to ramp up the chances of him doing well at May's Eurovision in Sweden.
