Bookmakers Beginning to favour Rege-Jean Page as James Bond - 2/1 favourite on Some Betting Sites

I've spent over 20 years inside the betting industry. I'll guide you to avoid the hype, ignore the noise, and steer clear of the common pitfalls that catch out everyday punters.

  • Rene-Jean Page has become the favourite with some bookmakers to step into 007's shoes after Daniel Craig
  • Betting Odds for Page to fill role have shortened from 5/1 into 2/1
  • Cameo at best for Bridgerton Star in Season 2 - Bookies think Bond would be hard to turn down.
  • Loshana Lynch and a Female Bond could come into play as a 6/1 chance with betting sites.

Slow Progress

It has been noted that Rege-Jene Page has quietly slipped back into the favourite's position with bookmakers to be announced as the next James Bond now that Daniel Craig has left the role.

The Bridgerton Star has long been within the top 3 or 4 possible candidates, was a long-time favourite on betting sites before Tom Hardy entered the fray and took over at the top. But without any formal announcement or news-making rumours, the star has appeared at the head of the market replacing Tom Hardy who has, and still is in some places, the favourite.

This is not so much to do with any news from Hardy either, his odds remain the same, but betting sites have cut the odds of Page's chance, which has left punters intrigued.

The conclusion is that it can only come down to bets being made of Page, bookmakers' liabilities rising on the outcome and shortening the price to tempt punters into looking farther afield for the next secret agent in the next James Bond betting.

Page has slipped almost unnoticed, secret agent style, back to the head of the betting for James Bond, replacing Tom Hardy as the favourite. A 33% chance and 2/1 odds with bookmakers, Page fits the Bond profile perfectly.

Bridgerton

Page of course has risen to recent fame height in the popular Netflix series Bridgerton which he left after the one season.

With confirmation that he also left the cast Whatsapp group, we are aware he does not appear in Season 2 but has recently hinted at a possible cameo role at some point.

Female Bond

Loshana Lynch has also crept up the betting and is the woman with the highest chance of landing the role according to bookmakers betting odds.

She is given a 6/1 chance, which translates into a 14% chance of becoming the first female Bond. I don't know if she would get a Mr Moneypenny or not!

We've had the first female Dr. Who, could it be time for our first female bond with Loshana Lynch at 6/1 with bookmakers? Her chance of leading the role is increasing daily and the odds are reflecting that with punters placing more and more bet on her.
