The latest series of Big Brother kicked off on Sunday evening with 16 housemates entering the legendary house for the 21st series of the show.

AJ Odudu and Will Best greeted the housemates as they entered the show this year once again with this year set to be the shortest ever civilian series at just 41 days.

OLBG now look at the odds on who will win the show this year with UK Betting Sites putting together the first betting market for the series after the opening night.

William Hill's latest market has 20-year-old Lily Benson as the early favourite to win the show this year with the odds giving her a 20% chance of doing so.

Chinese Takeaway worker Lily hails from Warrington and has already been hailed as an 'icon' by viewers of the show during her opening VT.

What the expert says...
Lily Benson is the early favourite to win this year's Big Brother with bookies putting the Warrington-born 20-year-old at the top of the betting market to win the show! Benson is clear of any other contestant in the odds after the opening night of the 21st series on Sunday.

First twist sees Red and Blue sides to the house

Housemates were ordered to choose their own sides in the Big Brother house on night one with Red or Blue teams the ones to choose from.

The final headcount saw 11 on the red team with 5 on the blues ending with Big Brother revealing that one side would be classed as housemates and the other non-housemates.

Two cards dropped down revealing the the smaller blue team were housemates and the 11-person reds would have to be "sent to storage" to live there.

Big Brother also revealed that all non-housemates would face the first eviction of the series which is expected on Friday.
