*Betting on the Apprentice is not available as it is a pre-recorded show and the results can be already known. We have created betting odds based on an independent poll of apprentice fans as to who they think will win the show.
Who is Akshay
Akshay has made 5 appearances in the boardroom on the losing side, and can thank himself lucky that he was in with Nick Showering this week who had, before being fired, been in the same number of times. he lives another week but has to take on the project manager role in the next task.
Akshay has a history of directorships in a range of companies, the less said about the majority of them the better. He claims to be able to speak seven languages, but up to week 8 in this season of The Apprentice, has yet to impress Lord Sugar with anything he has said or done, in language.
As a self-confessed petrol head, it was a surprise to see him dodge the PM role in week 8 when it was a Silverstone experience, for which he would surely have been suited given his argument about cars in week 7
Living in the capital, he has got to the final 7 contestants in this years Apprentice but has been forced to take on the project manager's role in week 9 which could expose him, and he seem to be treading on thin ice. We are not sure he will survive another week on the losing side.
