2026 World Series of Darts Preview
The 2026 World Series of Darts will see a total of seven events from January until September. That is a reduction from the eight events that we saw in 2025.
The Dutch Masters has been dropped from the schedule, as has the Poland Masters, which is due to the new Poland Darts Open, which is part of the European Tour.
We have a new tournament added with the Saudi Arabia Masters second up on the schedule, one to watch with a £100k bonus for a 9-darter and a chance of doubling that by hitting the bull!
The season will end with the usual World Series of Darts Finals, which will once again be hosted in Amsterdam for the sixth consecutive year.
Michael van Gerwen is the reigning champion, having won his sixth Finals last year when defeating Luke Littler 11-7. Can he make it a seventh success in 2026?

World Series of Darts Favourite Statistics
Here we have a breakdown of how many favourites have won their matches during each season of the World Series of Darts.
The most obvious factor when looking at the table is that the figures are fairly consistent over the last five years, with the lowest win rate of 72.57% in 2022and a high of 77.94% in 2024, meaning the range is only just over 5%.
World Series of Darts Odds Breakdown
Here, we are examining the odds of the match winners. We have broken this down into ranges, which allows us to see where the percentages are working in our favour.
As you can see, the ranges coloured in blue are where the win rates fall within the implied probability based on the odds; the rest all fall below the implied probabilities.
World Series of Darts Number of Legs
These are the five most popular correct scores:
- 13% (148) ended 6 - 3
- 12% (143) ended 6 - 2
- 11% (131) ended 6 - 4
- 10% (113) ended 6 - 5
- 9% (109) ended 6 - 1
As you can see, when it comes to close matches, there are not too many, 25% of the matches have ended with at least a 3-leg advantage, and 36% of the matches have ended with at least a 2-leg advantage.
Below we have broken down the figures for each season, with the total number of games, total number of legs, the average number of legs and then the most common correct score for that season.
You will notice that the average number of legs per match has gradually dropped off over the years. 2013 was a different format, but since then, you can see it has crept down with the last two years being below 10 with wider margin victories.
