PDC European Tour Favourite Statistics

Here we have a breakdown of how many favourites have won their matches during each season of the PDC European Tour.

The most obvious factor when looking at the table is the figures are fairly consistent with the lowest win rate of 64.25% in 2018 and a high of 69.57% in 2021 meaning the range is only just over 5%.

PDC European Tour Odds Breakdown

Here we are looking at what odds were the winners of the matches, we have broken this down into ranges which means we can see where the percentages are working in our favour.

As you can see, the ranges coloured in blue are where the win rates fall within the implied probability based on the odds, the rest all fall below the implied probabilities.

PDC European Tour Number of Legs

These are the five most popular correct scores:

  • 21% (1271) ended 6 - 4
  • 21% (1262) ended 6 - 3
  • 20% (1210) ended 6 - 5
  • 16% (957) ended 6 - 2
  • 12% (701) ended 6 - 1

As you can see a two-leg advantage is the most popular correct score although, to be honest, there is not a great deal between the three most popular outcomes. Big defeats are less popular which shows how competitive this tournament can be.

Below we have broken down the figures for each season, with the total number of games, total number of legs, the average number of legs and then the most common correct score for that season.

You will notice that the average number of legs per match does not differ too much each season, it hovers around the 9 mark and only twice dips below that (2013 & 2016) with a high of 9.32 in 2023.
