Returned to form when finishing second at Taunton last time out. Runs off the same mark here and is a previous course and distance winner.

Major Fortune aimed too high two races ago on ground that was too good. Came back to this class and mud last time and won over 3 miles. Won going away, and a similar show here should give a big chance.

In form, stable, and goes on the ground. Steps back up in trip here, and the strength of money for him suggests a good run here.

I think Jupiter Des Bordes is over-priced here. This is his second season chasing and he has been a steady improver and likes soft ground. He does need to improve again to win here, but the step back to 3 miles is a positive.

Last win came at Wincanton February 2024 over 20f on heavy off a mark of 119 in class 4 . Finished 2nd here over CD in class 4 last run beaten 11L but should relish conditions underfoot & is running off a mark of 115 with claimer taking a further 3Lb off so getting plenty of weight off rivals & is over due a trip to the winners enclosure .

Was a decent chaser in 2022 who won off a mark of 145. Only won a novice hurdle since and has dropped to a chase mark of 130. Tough ask, but is well in.
