His victory here when beating subsequent Arc winner Bluestocking is arguably the best on offer and although he has to concede 3lbs to Absurde his low draw means he should be able to dictate matters here again. There's a worry the strong pace will set things up for Absurde who also won well here on his only previous start when needing a victory to qualify for the Melbourne Cup.
