Two Tempting ran with credit on return at Newbury and now goes back to a track where he’s previously won. He’s only 1lb above his last winning mark and has a handy draw for a front-runner on this turning track.

Devine Libra ran a respectable 6th of ten in a class 2 seven furlong handicap at Haydock two weeks ago after a 203 day break. This three time winner didn't have a clear run in that race, so, interesting runner here for Charles Hills with the booking of Ryan Moore a big plus.

Distance winner who's turned out again quickly after running only 13 days ago, finishing a good 2nd of 10, only beaten 1/2L in a class 2 over 7f. Sneaks into a nice each way bet @11/2 paying 4 places.

PEARL EYE ran well here on the opening day and is worth consideration from a better position in the stalls from the same mark here. Might be up in grade, but we've got a claimer taking further weight off and the extra distance looks another plus for me. Has raced well in the recent past in big field handicaps and could get close here.

Backed him a couple of days ago when a strong fancy, but thought he ran a bit flat, just not picking up as you would expect from where he was. Drifted quite a bit in the betting, which told a story. Maybe it was a prep for this and to get a bigger price? Can't let him go unbacked today.

Trained by Bethell. Has a strong record at this track, six runs and two wins and two more places. Acts well on the forecasted going conditions. Hasn't run since September, but does well after a layoff. Each way option.

The model I run suggests Cheshire Dancer should be able to get the nose in front for this one. Steps out as one of the youngest horses here but has a joint highest RPR of the field and goes out carrying the least weight here. There is 1 to 1.5 stone difference to the top of the market for the 7f trip. Stall draw of 6 is not ideal but still manageable.

This is a significant step up in grade for Partisan Hero. However, he has not done very much wrong since making his British and stable debut and has never finished out of the frame in Britain, including two wins. It would be no surprise to see him thereabouts again.

Transcending Glory’s lightly raced and comes in with some solid form, including a win and a good second recently. The wide draw makes life harder at Chester, but with Marquand on and more to come, he’s still one to take seriously.

TARKHAN was a winner when reappearing at a similar time last year. That was in a previous campaign abroad and now with Jamie Osborne it is interesting that this trainer does not see fit to claim from his new recruit pitched into a hot handicap from top weight.

C&D winner last September and though that was on heavy ground and we're good here today yesterday's time over the 7f trip suggested there is enough dig in the ground. Add in the fact there has been watering over the week I think my fancy will be fine and from a plumb draw should go well. Only made debut last March and is a three time winner now all over 7f. Yard has had a couple of winners and a couple of thirds at the meeting here this week and this one looks well overpriced to me. Finished last season with a couple of fair efforts in Listed events and if fit enough on seasonal debut looks a fair each way shout here.

Exposed, but in good form after winning the latest race at Musselburgh C3 7f off a handicap mark of 87. Up 4lb to a career-high mark, which is not ideal, but is a prominent racer that helps at this course.

Yermanthere came over from Ireland last year and took several runs before finding his winning mark of 80. The handicapper raised him 4 lbs for that, and he has slowly worked his way back down to today's mark of 80. He had one prep race last month in a slightly longer race when he was staying on but faded near the finish. He is not fancied today in the current betting but is worth an EW shout off this mark.
