Should of won the 2000 Guineas and made amends on the Irish version and looks a good thing here as stiff track will suit and will get a nice tow into the race probably from Windlord. Already looks a world beater and has so much scope can only get better with time and racing. Handles quick ground and small field will only play to his strengths as is such a smooth traveller who is going to get him off the bridle? Only issue is if it turns into a sprint as looks a grinder but sure Colin Keane can go on if he knows the pace isn't strong enough. Looks a good thing.

Willie Mullins training one for the King with Ryan Moore booked smacks of a plan and this one made a satisfactory debut for the yard after Sir Michael Stoute's retirement when touched off at Leopardstown. Bred in the purple as is out of Sea The Stars by the Queen's own Gold Cup winning mare Estimate and the step up in trip should be the making of this one. Actually has a fair bit to find on previous form for former trainer but it's obvious we haven't seen the best of this one yet and looks sure to go close in what doesn't look the deepest renewal.

I love Haatem but have a slight concern with that one stepping up in trip and much prefer this fella dropping back in distance. Was touched off in the Hampton Court over C&D at last year's meeting and looks sure to run well. Yard in decent form and the blinkers are quickly discarded here as didn't seem to work the oracle on seasonal debut. Looks a bombproof EW play today and to my eye may even be the best of the Wathnan runners who had a blinding Royal Ascot last year and have some mighty chances this time around. The more I write the more I like and this fella is tough and game on a going day and rates a decent bet as should be spot on today with everything in favour.

Was actually sent off shorter than 100-1 winning stablemate in the Truimph Hurdle at Cheltenham and though a 50 length plus defeat there hardly states he's a good thing here we know whose hands he is in, and who is riding. Yard have won the last two runnings of this and the expensive purchase from France is very interesting here with Moore booked. Was 3/4 in France including at Listed level and finished career with a good second to Sibayan who is a narrow Gp 3 and Gp 2 runner up since. Made a satisfactory yard debut winning at the stiff Naas and should handle this step up in trip. Looks another plan and what price the Royal treble of Reaching High, King's Gambit and Charlus on the opening day of Royal Ascot on the day the King Charles III is run!! I'm on that topical tip!
