Doesn't arrive here in the same form as last year, when an agonising second in this very race and was so unlucky not to win. Is 3 lb lower and was drawn in stall 19 last year and in 24 now, so could go well again. Oisin Murphy, who was on last year, is back on for the first time since and now is nicely handicapped. I'm expecting a bold show today given good course form. Havana Grey's progeny go well here in sprints and looks a cracking each-way bet if getting the splits once again. Royal Ascot winner last year shows class is there, and if the yard can get her back she looks a decent punt. Yard in fair form, especially with their sprinters in recent weeks, and this one has to be high on the list.

Has rattled off a hat-trick and is improving at a rate of knots. Was a very easy winner last time out at Newbury and that form is getting franked all over the place as winners and well-placed horses have emerged from those behind. Was a C&D winner here last month, just holding on, but that form has been franked nicely too with the 4th and 5th winning since and plenty of others running well. Could have taken on the boys here later in the week, but interestingly keeps to a fillies' race today and, as is a rapidly improving sort, has to go well. The yard is operating at a 33% strike at Goodwood this season for a tidy profit, and I do like Sea The Stars progeny at the track. Has so much in its favour that it has to be the bet here.

Won maiden and Irish Cambridgeshire really well for previous trainer before failing to stay 10f on final start for Dermot Weld. I'd picked this one out on debut for yard as had fancy entries and was declared as well as stablemate Far From Dandy who was bang in form and what a winner he was. Won easily as if could be a Group horse and it is hard to get that impression out of one's mind as he won easily from his stablemate. Jack Kearney back onboard and his claim is invaluable so despite being worse off with Far From Dandy here looks a far punt. Wasn't disgrace at Royal Ascot as ran well and looked sure to challenge in the Royal Hunt Cup but may of found the fast ground too quick as hung left late on to fade close home. Slower ground here will help and need to give him another chance given quality shown on stable debut. Up in the weights but obviously handles a big field and looks a fair EW punt. Form reads 0101010 so though looks in and out has been running in competitive races and can bounce back today.

Can't resist a little each-way on old favourite Orandi. Only 1 lb higher than when winning the Irish Lincolnshire last year and backed that up with a good third in the Lincoln itself at Doncaster. Was well fancied in this race last year and finished third off an 8 lb higher mark. Hasn't been in top form this season, but if bouncing back to her best she has to be an each-way player. Big field will suit, as will any cut in the ground, and the yard can lay one out! Each-way squeak.
