5:20 Goodwood Tips

It's a big ask for a filly to win four in a row, given she is rising sharply in the ratings. However, Annastarzy is a filly who is thriving, and when that happens it's generally worth following her until she gets turned over. One of her wins came over course and distance, and she is drawn low here, which is usually a positive when the ground is quick. These positives convince me she won't be far away.

Proposal disappointed last time at Windsor going up to a mile after winning at Doncaster over 7f but she only carries eight stone two pounds with Saffie Osborne given the ride and she could take to the contours of Goodwood which is less demanding than Windsor.

Crazee Icon has improved with each run and since going handicapping has been sent off favourite in all 7 of those runs, proving expensive to follow, with good runs but form figures of 22525 in her first 5 handicap runs, then things gelled and she has won the last twice and deserves her chance to complete the hatrick despite the step up in class.

The unexposed 4yo filly has 2 wins from 6. Two runs this year, a good 5th of 24 at Royal Ascot when last seen six weeks ago. Stuck behind runners when the paced quickened 2f out and she never really got much room all the way to the line. Still room for improvement, same mark today and this handicap doesn't look as strong.

Si Grass looks capable of going close in the 5.20 at Goodwood. Charlie Johnston's filly has already shown she's effective over this trip and arrives with solid handicap form, while the booking of Silvestre De Sousa is another positive. Off a competitive mark, she's the type to travel strongly and, if getting a clear run in the straight, has every chance of finishing best in what looks a wide-open contest.

At odds of 25/1, this distance winner is well-positioned to secure a place. Her return to turf directly complements her abilities, and the steady reduction in handicap weights offers her a distinct competitive edge.

Three year old filly ,trained by H.Al Jehani and ridden by Jamie Spencer. Has had three races,finishing in the frame each time. Improved form to finish second in a race at Meydan,beaten just over two lengths. That form has worked out well in Group company. Has been freshened up in readiness for this race. Worthy of each way support.

An unexposed three-year-old filly who steps into handicap company in the 1-mile fillies' contest. She has shown flashes of genuine ability in novice events, and the handicapper has handed her an intriguing opening mark that looks open to plenty of improvement. Fast, good-to-firm turf plays right to her strengths, and at a generous 22/1 price tag, she represents a lively longshot sleeper for each-way backers looking for late-card value.

Small each-way tip. Others have shown more so far but this horse is likely to improve at some point. Fairly consistent form in 3 runs on the AW so far , now switches over to Turf but she does have some decent Turf form in her pedigree.
