  There are a few very disappointing sorts in this race, which I don't think will take much winning. Leelawadee is quite lightly raced and was a fair second to a more experienced winner from the Tim Easterby yard at Thirsk last time. She will have learned more from that experience and can lead them home. Michael Dods has his string in good form, another positive for the filly's chance here.

  Strength Of Spirit is too big a price at 14/1 to ignore. He won a decent Musselburgh handicap back in April in quite taking fashion, and has done well in a number of good races since. If you take into account the useful Jack Nicholls's three-pound claim, he is only a pound higher than the mark he won off at Musselburgh. I think he looks a solid each-way bet at the current price.

  Kevin Ryan's stable hasn't been firing quite as well as they normally do, but that will change at some point, and Territorial Knight might be the boy to set them on their way. He ran well in a competitive handicap at Ayr last time and was a very good fifth in the Bronze Cup at Ayr last September. He goes well on easy ground, and while the ground won't be soft here, it is better than most tracks have been lately.
