Down To The Kid is chasing a hat-trick at Southwell today after two narrow wins over this course and distance. He’s up 3lb but still looks well treated off 69, and this doesn’t look the deepest Class 5. With Kingscote booked and confidence high, he’s got every chance of landing the treble.

Mr Swivell went close at Chelmsford on stable debut and looks to be heading the right way. He’s been nudged up just 2lb and that effort suggests he’s got more to come.

See That Storm returns to Redcar today after ending last season with a hat-trick, including two wins over course and distance. He’s up 3lb but still looks well treated in this Class 3 and has every chance of picking up where he left off.

Triple Double A heads to Yarmouth today after a dominant handicap debut win at Redcar, where he landed a gamble in first-time cheekpieces. He carries a 6lb penalty but looked to have plenty in hand and could still be ahead of the handicapper.

Arabian Dusk ran well at Kempton last time and showed enough to suggest she’s improving with racing. Well drawn, up in class, but clearly going the right way and could get a soft lead.

Star Of Mehmas is back at Chelmsford and steps up to 6f after a solid juvenile campaign that included a Listed win. The wide draw’s not ideal, but she's got the pace to overcome it early on so has potential to go close.

Lunar Rocks lines up at Ayr today, stepping back onto the Flat after a few modest efforts over hurdles. She’s yet to win in 14 starts but did place a couple of times on the all-weather last year. Now racing off a career-low mark of 45 and fitted with cheekpieces, she might outrun big odds.

Braes Of Doune returns to Ayr today after a solid fourth at Doncaster last week. He’s back at a track where he’s been consistent, with two wins and multiple placings over this trip. Off a mark of 61, he’s still well within range of his best form, and should be right in the mix again.

Bill Plumb lines up at Chelmsford tonight after a couple of quiet runs, including a sixth at Wolverhampton over 6f last time. He’s back down to a mark of 65, and with Rossa Ryan booked and a drop in class, he might bounce back to form.

Aim For The Bull heads to Chelmsford tonight after a decent fourth over this course and distance last time out. He stayed on well late, suggesting the 7f trip suits, and first-time cheekpieces could sharpen him up further.

Crimson Lad steps back up to 7f at Chelmsford off a career-low mark of 47, having shaped a touch better than the bare result at Redcar. He’s still lightly raced and remains unexposed at the trip, with blinkers retained and a jockey who’s been on board before and could make an impact in this field.
