Full 32Red Bookmaker Review

Most, if not all sports are covered here, with niche sports like padel, beach volleyball, lacrosse and pesapallo included, as well as a few more. All of these sports are covered pretty well in terms of event coverage and market depth although there are a few exceptions, which is fair enough.

Some of the sports are exceptional. 32Red is among the best in the country for five different categories based on our own data, and is the single best bookie for betting on motorsports.  

There is a lack of promotions, but the overall service, product and betting experience is so good that that won’t really matter. I can see plenty of customers loving this, and staying with it as a loyal customer as a result.

First Impression of 32Red

My First Impressions

32Red feels very clean. Often, bookie homepages immediately direct you to in-play markets, but that’s not the case with 32Red, just its main sports and a single football match. It definitely lets you settle as a punter. The usual menu of sports sites down the left hand side of the screen, and there is a handy link to live streaming, also.

Live Betting

As mentioned above, in the main menu on the home page is an option for in-play betting, rather than it sitting on the homepage. Head here and I’m greeted by an impressive selection of sports including cycling, esports and padel, so not just the usual football, tennis et al. Most events, regardless of the sport in question have in-game stats to follow and help inform betting. Overall, 32Red doesn’t quite make our list of best bookmakers for in-play betting, but they are not far off, and it’s still an excellent part of the 32Red product.

Live Streaming

You can find streamed events really easily by heading to the Live Streaming part of the 32Red’s main menu. You have to be logged in to watch, and you can actually swap the stream for an “event ticker” (a sort of minute by minute report) or the in-game stats. The quality of the streams are great and covered selected football, tennis and basketball matches, as well as a few others.

Betting Odds

After looking through some comparison sites as well as a deeper dive across alternative bookmakers, I can see that the odds offered at 32Red are pretty good, overall. We checked football, tennis and table tennis for in-play odds, plus horse racing and a few other sports for pre-match stuff. They’re very competitive, and a must for line shoppers out there. 

Also, remember that it is always worth checking alternative betting options, including best spread betting sites and betting exchange sites, depending on who you are as a bettor.

⚽ Football Betting

32Red offer a very broad range of football markets, with odds that sit right up there with some of the best going. There’s obviously the major leagues and competitions, but punters can also find domestic leagues as broad and varied as Algeria, Peru, Northern Ireland and Syria and, as mentioned, some selected games are live streamed through the 32Red site or app. There are so many different markets per match.

Bet Builder 

There’s an absolute load of markets within their bet builder feature. There’s a decent enough selection of markets within this, although I like to see a few more (there are no player fouls committed, or player tackles), but to be honest, these might be added closer to the time of kick-off. From a product and functionality perspective, it works really well.

Bonuses

This is pretty limited to be honest. Head to the Promotions page on the site and two of the three “promotions” are live streaming and cash out, more product features than promotions, really. The only one that you could call a promotion is for horse racing.

Cash Out

Cash out is a very important betting feature for punters these days so it's crucial that bookies integrate this feature into their mobile betting apps. 32Red have done this well, allowing their customers to instantly cash out their bets on any device they like.

🏇 Horse Racing

The horse racing section at 32Red is very good. You can live stream selected races in the UK (50% of the races on the day I double checked), just look for the small  icon. There’s the usual selection of Winner, Each Way, Forecast and Tricast, all at impressive odds. There are extra places on selected races and you can use 32Red’s acca bonus when making your selections. You can also get a casino bonus for betting on US racing. You can get daily horse racing price boosts here, which is fantastic, and that goes some way to making up for the fact that 32Red doesn’t offer Best Odds Guaranteed.

🇺🇸 US Sports Betting

A full range of American Sports is available. Of the major leagues in the US, there’s no NFL season currently, but it’s good to see some futures and outrights, regardless.

32Red make sure that they have the best NFL odds out there, and rely on that rather than any bells or whistles. Choosing between this and other great NFL bookies just comes down to preference in design, lay out, and user experience of their respective sites and apps. Competitive odds, and hundreds of basketball betting markets available, 32Red offers virtually everything that you need, particularly for NBA betting. Because of the brand’s casino heritage don’t dismiss its sports offering, which is sharp, considered and has a brilliant app that holds up against the other best basketball betting sites. New users will also get a 100% profit boost when they join. ⚾ Baseball Betting

32Red’s baseball section is excellent, and only just misses out on our top baseball betting sites. What really stands out is the number of markets per game. There’s the standard stuff (result, spread, although it’s called handicap, and total runs), but also a bunch of other betting possibilities, particularly player based markets. Here you’ll find batter props, pitcher props, home runs, hits, RBIs, bases and more. A really impressive set-up.

🏒 Ice Hockey Betting

Again, the focus applied to its US sports output is really good, and that continues with the ice hockey here. There are international leagues, in Sweden, South Korea, the UK and more, but obviously the NHL is the main draw. As well as being able to use the bet builder feature, there are also “Pre-packs” here, essentially pre-made bet builders, and there’s a ton of them. This is on top of plenty of markets and player props.

🐕 Greyhound Betting

32Red has a full offering of UK and Irish races, and of the seven different meets I saw, all of them featured live streaming (all clearly visible with a green play icon on each). You can sort through quick picks, build a racecard or go through their ante post markets. Each race has race markets, plus forecast and tricast, and you can always opt for the current odds or starting price.

32Red Snooker Betting

As a fan of the sport our Editor-in-Chief is always on the lookout to determine which are the best snooker betting sites. 

The odds look quite competitive

As with the best snooker betting sites, there are markets for a few different tournaments, including the World Championships, the Masters and World Grand Prix. On top of that, the odds look quite competitive, and that goes for outrights on next year’s World Championships, as well as upcoming matches in some smaller tournaments. Although the odds are generally good across the board, there is definitely a lack of markets. For one selected match 32Red has result, handicap, correct score and total frame markets. There isn’t anything for race to (frames) or any more novelty bets like odd/even total frames etc. but this may just be down to the time of year and how quiet the season is.

🎾 Tennis Betting

By James Banting - Overall, I think the tennis betting at 32Red is nice. Across the site it’s definitely one of the better sports in terms of in-play coverage. The odds are good, especially the in-play ones. If they could add in more markets, and some tennis-specific promotions, they’d definitely be closer to getting into the top 10 tennis betting sites on OLBG.

This is pretty poor. There’s a market for Sports Personality of the Year, but that’s it. No other TV shows, no sports awards shows, usual market type stuff (the next James Bond, for example) and, most surprisingly, none of the big film/TV awards odds such as the Oscars, Baftas or Emmys.

32Red Account Opening Process

A reassuringly easy process. At the top-right of the screen 32Red has their “Join Now” button. Bettors just need to select this and follow the simple steps as guided through. You’ll be asked for the usual information – name, date of birth, address etc – and once complete be sent a verification email. Clicking this from your inbox will redirect you to the site, and then you’re free to get betting.

Navigation and user experience [desktop v mobile]

The 32Red app is very good. The desktop version of the site is better than most, but the app does exactly what you want and that does not feel too far removed when you switch from one device to the next, but also being product-led, and designed to suit its purpose, rather than just be a mobile version. The 32Red app feels really clean, and is super simple to navigate. 

Placing a bet

This section should only really highlight if there are issues, as the process is almost identical on every site. Within a few minutes of signing up to 32Red I placed a couple of bets on different sports, one of which took advantage of the welcome offer, and I used their bet builder feature, which was very indeed. 

Managing your account

As mentioned above, the design really helps this along. On the desktop version, it’s stuff to the  left of the screen. On the app, it’s all at the bottom, with just the login at the top. I haven’t experienced any issues logging in, or finding customer service options, either. Overall, it feels like 32Red has got this part nailed.

Responsible Gambling Features

You can set your deposit limit while you’re signing up; long before you’ve got close to actually making a bet. 

There is also a Settings tab at the bottom of the page, no matter what page you’re on, that allows you to make changes to limits, as well as odds formats, or odds change preferences/notifications.
