Helen Skelton is the 15th and final contestant announced for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing ahead of the series opener next month.

Bookmakers have instantly made her 9/2 second favourite to win the show this year, 10 years on from her appearance on the Christmas special of the famous dancing show.

William Hill have Fleur East as favourite ahead of Skelton with Bros singer Matt Goss just behind the pair at 6/1 in the betting market.

Fleur East was runner up on the 2014 series of The X Factor where she became a household name in the UK.

Paralympian Ellie Simmonds is now 9/1 to win this year's series after being announced to appear on the show.

Bookmakers originally made Simmonds the second favourite in the betting market after the five-time Paralympic champion was confirmed for the series.

Simmonds has since drifted in the betting market to 9/1 and has a 10% chance of winning the show according to the odds.
