Despite being beat by The Banshees of Inisherin for Best motion picture - musical or comedy, Paddy Power have moved EEAAO into favourite for the Best Picture award.

Will Smith 33/1 to attend the Oscars this year 12 months on from his attack on presenter Chris Rock

Other betting specials are given for this year's Oscars including novelty betting around specific events at the awards show.

It's likely there will be references towards Will Smith and Chris Rock after last year's Oscars where Smith attacked Rock on stage.

Star Sports make it 33/1 that Smith attends the Oscars this year despite having a 10 year ban from all it's events by the Academy.

In a statement last year, the Academy called Smith's actions “unacceptable and harmful” with Smith slapping Rock after the comedian made a joke about Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

Bookies give odds of 33/1 for Will Smith to attend this year's Oscars awards just 12 months on from his attack on Chris Rock at last year's ceremony. This gives a 2.9% probability that he will attend the show this year despite having a 10 year ban by the Academy!

When will the 2023 Oscars take place?

The 2023 Oscars Ceremony will take place on March 12th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Nominations for the show will be announced in two weeks time on January 24th and that should be when we start to see hype ramp up for the ceremony.

The Fabelmans is expected to dominate nominations with Everything Everywhere All At Once also having big nomination hopes.
