Betting is already available on the 2025 Academy Awards just weeks after the 2024 ceremony and this year's Best Actress winner Emma Stone is favourite to win it again.

Stone will once again pair up with Yorgos Lanthimos for the film Kinds of Kindness this June after the success that they had for the movie Poor Things.

Bookies have placed Stone as the betting favourite to win Best Actress for her role in the movie with the first trailer expected to be released this week.

With odds of 2/1, the latest betting market puts Stone just about favourite with Lady Gaga second favourite at 3/1 for her role as Harley Quinn in the latest Joker movie.

Dune: Part Two is the favourite to win the 2025 Best Picture award

It's not just the actress and actor categories that bookmakers are offering odds for but the main Best Picture award too with Dune: Part Two the early favourite.

The second movie of the Dune franchise has been the biggest Box Office release of 2024 so far and it is 2/1 to win the Best Picture at next year's Oscars.

Maria though has been shortening in the odds and is just 9/4 to win the award although it's unclear when the Maria Callas biopic will be released with filming only taking place at the end of 2023.
