2026-27 Women's Big Bash League Betting Preview
The 2025-26 cricket season of the Women's Big Bash League will be the twelfth tournament and will also be known as WBBL12.
There will be plenty of pre-season to get these players ready this season. The T20 Spring Challenge will take place for a third tournament. It was created to fill the absence of high-profile matches in Australia, and the Hobart Hurricanes are back-to-back winners.
Heading into the new season, the Hobart Hurricanes will be the defending champions, having won their first-ever title in 2025. This was a vast improvement on previous seasons, having never made the final before, but can they back up that win?
Could they join the list of dual winners of the WBBL, which features the Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder? Could one of those four make it a record-breaking third this season?
Remember that throughout the season, the OLBG Cricket Tipsters will be making predictions on every match; these will include match winner and top scorers for both of the participating teams.

Past Women's Big Bash League Winners
Of the eight Women's Big Bash League teams, seven have been crowned champions, which, considering there have only been eleven previous seasons, shows that this is a competitive tournament.
Four teams have been crowned champions twice, Sydney Sixers, Brisbane Heat & the Adelaide Strikers, all winning back-to-back championships, whilst the Sydney Thunder are the other dual winners.
The Perth Scorchers (WBBL07), Melbourne Renegades (WBBL10) and Hobart Hurricanes (WBBL11) are the other teams to have won the championship, which leaves just the Melbourne Stars as the only winless team.
