Current Norwich City Manager
Johannes Hoff Thorup has been appointed Norwich City manager. He replaces David Wagner, who was sacked at the end of the 2023/24 season. The Danish-born Thorup, who has signed a three-year deal, became the Canaries fifteenth manager since 2000. He is a name many English football fans will be unaware of, but most recently, he has been in charge of the Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland. If another managerial change takes place at Carrow Road, the best betting sites will have all the next Norwich City manager odds, with clues on offer as to who is available via the EFL Championship Manager blog.

Who Will Be The Next Manager Of Norwich City
Here are some suggestions of who I think could be in the betting for the next manager at Norwich given previous market when the job was available and those with a profile that could suit the club.
Carlos Cuesta
The 28-year-old has only ever been an assistant manager, so Norwich City would be taking a leap of faith were he to be appointed. However, his CV shows positions at Atletico Madrid, Juventus, and Arsenal, where he will naturally have learned a great deal.
Kjetil Knutsen
Kjetil Knutsen is currently the manager of Bodø/Glimt in the Norwegian league and led them to their first-ever league title win in 2020 and followed that up again in 2021. It may be time for Knutsen to leave Norway, having been in charge for over five years, and try to manage in another country. The bookmakers certainly think his time is close for a move to England as he, more than any other foreign manager, features in the odds in a host of next-manager markets.
Frank Lampard
Currently in limbo having left his caretaker position at Chelsea. A Championship appointment could be a decent career move for Lampard who has lost some of his managerial sheen after being sacked by Everton in January 2023.
Steven Naismith
Naismith played for Norwich for an injury ravaged three seasons. He has just started his managerial career with Heart Of Midlothian in Scotland.
Steve Morison
Another Norwich City old boy is Steve Morison who turned out for City between 2011 and 2013. After managing the Cardiff Under 23’s side he was appointed first team manager of the Bluebirds in October 2021. His tenure lasted just under a year with a record of W16 D8 L21. In 2024 he was appointed to bottom of the table Sutton United, despite some upturn in form he could not keep the club in League Two.
Next Canaries Manager Betting Diary
The betting odds for the next Norwich City manager will fluctuate as the candidates apply for the Carrow Road job when Johannes Hoff Thorup departs the job he had held since May 2024.
