In terms of which team has made it to the most finals from the first match played in 1872, that would be Manchester United, who moved onto 22 finals after their 2024 appearance, moving them one clear of Arsenal's 21.

With those teams making the most finals, it is no surprise that they are also at the top of the winners' list.

Arsenal are the most successful, having won the FA Cup fourteen times compared to United thirteen times.
