2025 Spanish Grand Prix

The Spanish Grand Prix was first held back in 1913, the race has been held at the Catalunya race track since 2007. Previously it was held at Jarama (1976-1981) and Jerez (1986-1990).

The track is located around 32 km from Barcelona and is a popular F1 race for package holidays with fans taking in Barcelona before heading to the GP.

How long is the Spanish Grand Prix?

The Spanish Grand Prix is a total of 66 laps of the 4.6 km circuit which is around 2.9 miles. The race as a whole is a total of 307 km (190 miles).

During each lap of the race, the drivers will have to contend with a total of sixteen corners. Sector three is the most demanding with seven corners.

The track is not known as an 'Overtaking' track which probably is the reason behind the pole record here but the first turn after the home straight is the most popular for overtakes.
