2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix
The Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix has been added to the F1 calendar for the 2026 season. It will use the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya circuit with the Spanish Grand Prix, opting to use a new street track.
The track is located around 32 km from Barcelona and is a popular F1 race for package holidays, with fans taking in Barcelona before heading to the GP.
How long is the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix?
The Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix is a total of 66 laps of the 4.6 km circuit, which is around 2.9 miles. The race as a whole is a total of 307 km (190 miles).
During each lap of the race, the drivers will have to contend with a total of sixteen corners. Sector three is the most demanding, with seven corners.
The track is not known as an 'Overtaking' track, which probably is the reason behind the pole record here, but the first turn after the home straight is the most popular for overtakes.
