2026 Belgian Grand Prix
The Spa-Francorchamps hosts the Belgian Grand Prix. Originally built in 1921, the track underwent development in 1979, where the lap was reduced by over half its length. Despite this, this is still the longest lap on the current F1 calendar.
The Belgian Grand Prix did move around before redevelopment, but has been held at Spa-Francorchamps since 1985, except in 2003 & 2006 when there was no Belgian Grand Prix.
Spa is always a favourite for both fans and drivers. The mixture of fast corners and long straights allows drivers to push their cars to the max, and because of the size of the track, it can rain on one section and not another!
How long is the Belgian Grand Prix?
A lap of the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa is just over 7 km (4.35 miles), and drivers have to complete 74 laps for a total distance of 308 km (191 miles).
When F1 fans speak of Spa, the name 'Eau Rouge' will always pop up as this thrilling sequence of corners is one of the best in the world. The left is followed by a right, which leads up the hill through Raidillon.

When is the Belgian Grand Prix?
- Friday 17th July - Practice 1 & 2
- Saturday 18th July - Practice 3 & Qualifying
- Sunday 19th July - The Race
Where can I watch the Belgian Grand Prix?
Everyone wants to be in the grandstand, which is located by Eau Rouge. This elevated grandstand gives fans the perfect view of this world-famous corner, so demand is high!
There are plenty of other options, though, and if you cannot make it to Spa, then the race will be screened live on the Sky Sports F1 Channel.

Belgian Grand Prix Race Winner - Our F1 tipsters are predicting which driver will win the Belgian Grand Prix. Will they side with the market leaders or look to the eachway market (top 2) at higher prices?
Belgian Grand Prix Fastest Lap - Here, the tipsters are picking which driver will set the fastest lap during the race; only laps during the race are included, not any of those in practice or qualifying.
Belgian Grand Prix Podium Finish - Will a driver finish on the podium, or won't they? With these predictions, our tipsters are tipping whether a driver will finish on the podium (top 3) or not. Each driver will have a 'Yes' or 'No' next to their name, indicating whether the tip is to or not finish on the podium.
Belgian Grand Prix Points Finish - Similar to a podium finish, but this one is a straightforward pick to finish inside the points (top 10). The new rule of an additional point for the fastest lap does not affect this market, as the driver has to have a top-10 finish to receive the additional point.
