Get free F1 tips from our expert motorsport tipsters for one of the most famous races on the F1 calendar, the Monaco Grand Prix!

2025 Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix has been ever-present on the F1 calendar since 1955 and is one of the most anticipated races of the season.

This glamorous street circuit runs through the streets of Monaco passing past the beautiful Monte Carlo harbour.

The race is considered part of the 'Triple Crown of Motorsports' along with the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Furthermore, for a map of the circuit, head over to the official F1 site here.

How long is the Monaco Grand Prix?

During the race, each driver has to complete a total of 76 laps. Each lap is 3.3 km (2.1 miles).

This means the total race distance is just over 260 km (162 miles). This narrow track has a total of nineteen corners.

With the narrow track, this is one of the hardest circuits for overtakes. As seen in the 2003 race when there was not a single overtake during the race!

Drivers need to be at their absolute best here and qualification is more important than ever with drivers needing a good starting position.
