2025 Japanese Grand Prix
Mario Andretti won here in 1976 and then James Hunt in 1977 but there was then a ten-year break before we saw the Japanese Grand Prix when Gerhard Burger picked the win in 1987.
Between 1987 & 2006 the Japanese GP was held here at Suzuka but there was a two-year break with the 2007 & 2008 GPs being held at Fuji before returning to Suzuka.
How long is the Japanese Grand Prix?
The Japanese Grand Prix consists of a total of 53 laps, each lap being 5.8 km (3.6 miles) with the race being a total of 307 km (191 miles).
In the duration of a lap, each driver has eighteen corners to contend with. This track ranks right up there as a driver favourite with plenty of high-speed straights and corners.
