Mum's Tipple goes out carrying a middle-order weight here, with other current market leaders carrying slightly more. A previous course winner, so likes this track and a previous distance winner. Stall 5 and a good jump at the gate can help. Jockey on board claims a further 3 lbs, which is always helpful.

Al Muqdad had a busy season last year and won four times. It looked as though his run last time, after a 7-month break, could certainly bring some improvement. If it does, he could certainly be involved in the finish here today.

Stockpyle should finish in the top six home here at York. Well drawn in stall 2, he is only one pound above his lowest ever mark on 73. He last won in June 2024 when he won two consecutive races over a mile. His only other wins were in July 2022 when he again won consecutive races over seven furlongs. He looked an unlucky loser at Doncaster second time out this season when he had to wait to challenge and was a half-length 2nd of 15.
