Consistent gelding has only won one of his 6 starts, but has been a runner-up 3 times including at Chester on latest outing. Steps up in grade here, but is relatively unexposed and has top jockey on board.

Mythical Composer could be ready to land this one. Ran well enough and shaped with promise when 3rd over course and distance in September. Danny Tudhope is a positive on board and looks to have a good chance here in a competitive race.

Wasn't put off by the larger field at Musselburgh last time but was completely unsuited by the minimum trip. Of interest now back up to 6 furlongs.

Territorial Knight, for me, is showing a lot of ability and progressing well. He has just not been getting the luck in running as of late. I would say this race is a lot calmer waters. Dropped another 2lb in weight, and I think this one's primed and ready to take this race.

Good run last time when second making seasonal reappearance. Had been running consistently well last season, and although the ground is not his favorite, he has a big chance in this company.

Backing Far Above The Law, the progressive 3-year-old Far Above gelding trained by Alice Haynes, in tomorrow’s Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Sprint Handicap (6f). He’s proven himself at this track and distance, running a strong 3rd of 17 at York in August off a 73 rating, before landing a Chepstow maiden and following up with placed efforts at Newbury and Doncaster last summer. This season, he returned with an easy win at Windsor on 24 May, finishing a furlong clear off a mark of 75, and kept his form alive with a decent run at Ripon in April before his last outing at Hamilton on 15 June where he finished 10th of 14, likely needing that outing.

Michael Dods has raced this Belardo filly once after a mini break of 54 days off, which was at Hamilton where she finished in sixth place. Running a race that showed substance, with the run under her belt, she could be giving a good account of herself with Clifford Lee in the saddle. She could be making a big impact from stall two.

Impressive course and distance winner last summer and remained consistent since, despite often racing in less than optimal conditions. Off 4 months, but as good as anything in this race and on a workable mark if ready to roll.

Balzarini is a 3-year-old colt trained by John Butler. He won as a 2-year-old and opened on a mark of 77. He was set some tough tasks afterward, having been beaten 3.5 lengths in a Group 3 in Germany last August on good ground posting a career high RPR of 83. He was hiked in the weights by some 10 pounds, which seemed harsh. Then he finished last in a Group 3 at Newmarket, so he was highly tried. He was beaten 6 lengths on his last start at Windsor, showing signs of a revival, having dwelt at the start and run towards the rear, tucked in on the inside rail. He did well in the circumstances. He runs today off 74 with Brandon Wilkie claiming 3 pounds. He has run on good to firm for much of his career, so today's good ground off a mark of 74 could eke out some improvement.

Has finished in midfield in each of his three races since returning from a six-month break and wasn’t beaten far last time at Hamilton over 6f. Has been eased a couple of pounds by the handicapper and is too big a price to completely ignore.

Pathetic ride last time out. Held in last position way off the pace and tamely ridden before easing down when 'hampered'. 1 lb lower here and can do better.

Small each-way tip for Miss Hathaway. Wasn't at best form at Chester last time, maybe she sat too far back in the pack early on, never able to get involved, she was running better before that and she was running well in some good races last year, slightly better races than this so if she can can get back to anything like that form today, she would be at least running better than what these odds suggest. On ratings she needs improvement. Small each-way tip.
