Tropical Talent is the standout selection with a strong recent win and is expected to perform well again. Dj Pete and Tactical Affair have lower backing, but Tropical Talent's recent form on better ground suggests improvement. Rocks Up Late, despite limited success in bumpers and maidens, is backed by the market due to promising pedigree. Tipsters recommend Tropical Talent for a win, with Rocks Up Late as a potential value bet.

I think this horse is a good thing today. Definitely on the improve, and you had to like its win last time. That came back on better ground (ran on very soft ground before) and up seven pounds but did win easily.

Lightly raced 7yo. Just two starts over fences. Beaten under a length four weeks ago in a much stronger handicap than this contest. Only a lb higher mark now and plenty of room for improvement.

Rocks Up Late hasn't done a huge lot in bumpers and maidens, but her pedigree suggests that there could be more good finishes to come with experience. A bit of a gamble, but the market is backing it, so I'm going with the money here.

Has shown improved form since dropping back in trip on last two outings, finishing runner-up at Ludlow in February, and then even though last of three runners at Newcastle, acquitting himself well and close up at the finish. Same mark today and could be up to defying top weight.

Finished just outside the places in fourth on his first two starts back following three months off in March but was pulled up two fences from home over 2m 1f at Plumpton last month. Is down to a very low mark. Yard & jockey both in good form recently. Should be involved at the finish.
