Clear of rest in 2nd on reappearance run last time. He was a big eye-catcher on his last run last year when everything that could go wrong in a race did go wrong for him. Gelded during his break. He looks a good thing here.

Ata Rangi won over C&D on his stable debut and shaped well enough to think a follow-up here is very possible. He is open to more progress with the recent yard switch that is clearly working. Strong claims with course form is a plus.

I'm backing Drifts Away in the 20:30 at Kempton. This 4-year-old gelding, trained by Terry Kent, has shown impressive form on the all-weather tracks, securing five wins and multiple placings from 12 starts. Notably, he achieved a hat-trick of victories earlier this year, including a win over this course and distance in January. His recent third-place finish at Southwell over 7f suggests he's maintaining his form and competitiveness. Returning to Kempton, where he's previously tasted success, could play to his strengths. With a favorable draw and a racing style that suits Kempton's track, he has the potential to secure a prominent position early on.

Glam Squad lines up at Kempton today, returning to action after a 206-day break. He ended last season with a strong win at Southwell over a mile, showing a good turn of foot to beat Shimmering Sands by 1½ lengths. Now racing off a mark of 81, he faces a competitive field but could be in the mix if he picks up where he left off.

Down To The Kid is flying at the moment and comes here looking for four on the bounce after an easy win at Southwell. He’s up 6lb but still looks well in, and with Jack Mitchell sticking around, he’s got a big shout if the wide draw doesn’t scupper his chances.

Stuart Kittow's Sunny Corner looks overpriced here after drifting due to the money for Arctic Dawn, who has yet to win a race in 6 attempts. Whereas Sunny Corner has won 3 times out of just 11 starts. He got well-backed when returning to action at Brighton last time, and although his backers never got rewarded, it was a decent effort. He did well to finish a never-nearer 4th on his first start for 163 days and should strip fitter on what will be just his second try on the all-weather. I think with four places being paid, he looks an excellent e.w. bet here.

BEYLERBEYI (4): Won his last flat start on AW (Wolverhampton, 9.5f) off a lower mark and now carries less weight than that win. Returns to the flat after two unsuccessful hurdle runs, which can sometimes spark a revival. 'Handles conditions' and at 10/1, offers value if back to his recent flat best.

Hasn't won since July last year, but six pounds lower mark today, and his last two runs have not been without promise. This is a better race than those in which he normally plies his trade, hence his huge odds, but at his best, he'd have a squeak.

JODHPUR BLUE (FR) (7): Last-time-out maiden winner on Tapeta (7f), now steps up to 1m which 'should suit' on handicap debut. While the assessor's mark is questioned by the Expert View, improvement is possible over the new trip. At 10/1, there's potential for this lightly-raced type to outrun odds if taking to Polytrack.
