Schedule

The NFL regular season spans an 18-week schedule (including a bye week), which concludes in early January. The 32 NFL franchises will play 17 games through the regular season, made up via the following criteria:

  • The three teams in their division - twice (home & away)
  • Four teams from another division in their conference (AFC/NFC) - Once
  • Four teams from a division in the other conference (AFC/NFC) - Once
  • The remaining two teams from their conference who finished in the same divisional position last season - Once
  • An inter-conference match-up that took place two years earlier, based on teams finishing in the same divisional position the previous season.
