NFL Regular Season Schedule

Sixteen AFC teams across the four AFC divisions set out in early September with the aim of initially reaching the post season play offs and then onto the AFC Championship game on Sunday 24th January. The winner of the AFC Championship game will head to the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California to face the NFC Championship game winner in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday 13th February 2022.

There will be an additional fixture during the regular season meaning an 18 week schedule (including one bye week), each AFC team will play:

  • The three teams in their division - twice (home & away)
  • The four teams from another division in the AFC - Once
  • The four teams from a division in the NFC - Once
  • The remaining two teams from the AFC who finished in the same divisional position last season - Once
  • The New Fixture - An Inter conference match up that took place two years earlier based on teams finishing in the same divisional position the previous season.

This season's Inter conference match up pairings for the 17th game are as follows with the AFC teams at home:

  • NFC East @ AFC East
  • NFC West @ AFC North
  • NFC South @ AFC South
  • NFC North @ AFC West

2021 NFL London Games Series

What NFL teams are playing in London in 2021 ?

The 2021 NFL London Games Series kicks off with the AFC East team New York Jets taking on the Atlanta Falcons at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 10th October (14:30 GMT). The second match in the 2021 NFL London Games Series on Sunday 17th October is between the AFC East team Miami Dolphins and the AFC South's Jacksonville Jaguars. Road To The AFC Championship Game

The seven teams representing the AFC Championship will be the four divisional winners plus three wild card spaces which will be the three teams with the best regular season win/loss records who did not win their division. From the four divisional winners, the team with the best win/loss record will receive a valuable first round bye.
