Keen Liverpool fan enjoy poker racing and making money given this site to follow improve my betting. Also match my bets I have as well. Looking at other sports see if I can get an edge such as tennis and basketball and baseball but in regards to the latter the prices are invariably odds on and to short even on run line and its been hard expensive learning curve. What I like about OLBG is you have to give a reason for your bet gives you and opportunity to look at your strengths and weaknesses in certain sports. Belong to a couple of groups on Facebook and I try encourage people come to the site as its very informative. Have a share in a couple of horses and looking to get one or two greyhounds in the year a head land a gamble. Liverpool's only defeat this season came at home to Nottingham Forest, who were 5-2 for relegation around this price to qualify for Europe! I feel Liverpool have a stronger squad. They are more clinical in front of goal with a deeper first eleven.

Ayr

@2.45

Win

This is the bet of the night across the border. Ayr simply must be backed. My tissue was 11-10. There's 6-4 available with William Hill. Ayr lie second, some 19 points clear of the hosts, and are in great form. A few of their injured players at the start of the season are returning. The squad now has depth and a more balanced look about it. With a plethora of injuries at the time, Ayr won the home fixture back on November 23rd, 1-0. Dunfermline struggled in front of goal all season, amassing only 21 goals in 19 games, conceding 26. A -5 goal average, this is not the strongest of leagues. Ayr, on the other hand, scored 32 and conceded 17 for a +15 goal difference. Their away form is 3 wins, 3 draws, and 3 losses, with poor results coming at the beginning of the season. They tend to keep it tight away, as 7 goals scored and 8 conceded show. There is no way I see Ayr losing this unless someone's shown a red card on their side. Away win 1-2 or 0-1.

Very surprised to see odds 7-10 for Peterhead at home this evening. There's 16 points between these two sides. Hosts are in better nick coupled with the fact Stranraer only scored 16 goals in 17 games. Neither side concedes; hosts win by an odd goal.

Only Sheffield Wednesday and QPR conceded more goals at home than Argyle. The giant-killing win over Brentford might have given them a hangover. Oxford suffered a shock loss in the FA Cup away to Exeter, but they are finding it easier to score than the hosts. They will be smarting from that loss with a point to prove. I think they could well be value at current odds of 3.30.

At 13-20, Manchester City, despite the odds, look a decent bet. League form prior to Christmas was a concern, but they seem to have steadied the boat in the last few weeks. The squad, despite the absence of Rodri, is far stronger than The Bees, who come into this on the back of a shock home loss to Plymouth in the FA Cup. They are down to the bare bones with several key players out injured. Comfortable away win.

Commander Crouch hinted the turn may be near and is 19 pounds lower than the last winning mark but comes with risks attached. Therefore, the pick is PROFITMAN, whom I was told was well fancied LTO prior to being disqualified for interference in the race prior. Didn't enjoy the clearest of runs; race not run to suit. Is double the tissue price I had at 15-2, looks outstanding value from an each-way point of view. Unlike the aforementioned Commander Crouch, is not only in great form but is a winner on Tapeta. Young Billy Loughnane takes the ride and has a 16% strike rate here in his short career.

Fascinating race, which is difficult to split Lakota and Triple. Both looked unlucky on 28th December. Triple was the subject of a monster gamble, 20-1 overnight into 11-4. I have received a tip for it, but I feel Blue Lakota should have won LTO in a hat-trick bid and has fewer question marks even at these revised terms. I think the price represents outstanding value. The one reservation I have is the jockey, not as experienced as some of these, with 1 win from 24 starts. With usual Warren Fentiman at Newcastle this evening, it explains why they are using this claimer. Better drawn than Triple with fewer question marks on form. Those feeling adventurous, Horus for CTC purposes.

Good card at Exeter and OLIVIA KATE looks way over-priced in a wide-open competitive race. She won a race hard held at Ludlow two starts back. On that showing, she looked miles clear of the handicapper. Upped, unsurprisingly, eleven pounds to follow up at Uttoxeter but ran too bad to be true. She was going left-handed that day, so a return going right-handed will suit, I feel. That was a strange race; nothing went right. She hung left throughout, seemed intimidated by a bump from a rival at the third, and stumbled coming away from the fence. Then became lit up. Stan Shepperd took her to the front where she raced far too keenly. I feel the run can be safely ignored. Added bonus, the handicapper on that showing dropped her a pound. Barring a fall (never fallen in 11 race career), no way she'll be out of the first 5. Fully expect her to win. She was 5-2 that day, getting 10-1.

Has won 6 of his 17 races on the AW and is twice a CD winner. 5 of 9 runners met 13 days ago. He finished worst of the 6, but the race was not run to suit. Awful draw on the outside, got no cover, was keen. Better drawn in stall 5 this afternoon. Only two and three-quarter lengths separating 5 runners and he's been dropped a pound. 5-1 back on 31st December, 3 points bigger today. Of his 6 AW wins, 3 have come here. Obviously likes Lingfield! This should be run at a good clip, which will suit.
