Zendaya is the 1/3 bookies favourite to win her second Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series

The 74th Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series features two nominees who have already won the award once for their respective shows.

Zendaya won the award in 2020 for Euphoria while Jodie Comer won the award a year earlier in 2019 for Killing Eve.

Euphoria star Zendaya is expected to win again this year with her betting odds of just 1/3 giving her a 75% of winning it.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Odds Probability
Zendaya (Euphoria) 1/3 75.0%
Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets) 4/1 20.0%
Laura Linney (Ozark) 4/1 20.0%
Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) 16/1 5.9%

Paddy Power make Zendaya the heavy favourite with Melanie Lynskey and Laura Linney joint second favourites just behind in the market.

Lynskey has already won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series and that could be a good omen for this award.

Zendaya is now the heavy favourite to win the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy for the second time for her role in Euphoria.

Jodie Comer has also won the award previously but is now 16/1 to win it this year

When the nominees were first announced for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Jodie Comer was as short as 6/1 to win this year.

Fast forward just a month later and Comer is out to 16/1 to win the award, with bookies giving her just a 5.9% chance of winning it.

Comer won the award back in 2019 for the same role in Killing Eve and three years on could do the same again.

Laura Linney has been the consistent nominee in this category with a nomination in three of the last four years.
