Shogun is now 1/10 to win the Outstanding Drama Series award at the 76th Primetime Emmys
The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards now has it's nominees after they were announced last week and now betting sites are offering odds of who will win the biggest awards on the night.
Outstanding Drama Series is one of the big categories that are awarded at the Emmys and it's Shogun that is the heavy favourite to win the award this year despite the category looking competitive on paper.
That hasn't translated over to the betting odds though with bookmakers expecting it to be a clear run for Shogun to win at odds of 1/10 ahead of The Crown in the market.
William Hill's latest odds give an implied probability of 90.9% that the Japanese language series will win Outstanding Drama Series with the series available to watch in the UK on Disney+ now.

Outstanding Comedy Series is another award that is big on the night and it's The Bear that is favourite in this category with bookies once again thinking there's a heavy chance of it winning.
The Bear won the award at last year's event and it's expected that it'll lead the way in the category again this year with the latest odds putting the series as the 1/5 favourite.
Those odds give an 83.3% chance that The Bear will win back-to-back Outstanding Comedy Series awards with Hacks and Abbott Elementary following behind in the odds list at 9/2 and 12/1 respectively.

75th Primetime Emmys was held in January this year after the 2023 Hollywood labour disputes saw the event postponed by nearly 5 months.
