Other contenders on the show this series include Julian Clary and Sue Perkins

Campbell albeit the favourite isn't the most popular name on the show with both Julian Clary and Sue Perkins arguably household names in the UK.

The pair are 4/1 and 13/2 in the betting market respectively to win the show and this is a series that isn't about popularity but about how well you can play the game.

The full list of contestants on Taskmaster Series 16 are:

  • Sam Campbell - Australian stand-up comedian and actor
  • Lucy Beaumont - English actress, writer and stand-up
  • Julian Clary - English actor, comedian, novelist and presenter
  • Sue Perkins - English actress, broadcaster, comedian, presenter and writer
  • Susan Wokoma - British actress, writer and director

When and where can I watch Taskmaster Series 16?

Despite announcing the line-up for series 16 of Taskmaster, Channel 4 are yet to announce when the next series of the show will air.

Earlier in March, Channel 4 announced that Taskmaster had been renewed for another six seasons with the show hugely successful.

If the show follows a similar pattern of release to it's previous seasons, we're likely to see series 16 air in Autumn 2023.
