Stephen & Viv are the new favourites to win this year's Race Across The World after moving into 1st

Series Four of the hit BBC show Race Across The World reaches its fifth leg this week with the teams travelling from Mae Sariang to Koh Phi Phi in Thailand.

The series has changed again this week with the leaderboard swapping about drastically as Stephen and Viv go from last to first in a massive week for the pair.

Husband and Wife duo Stephen and Viv are the oldest couple in the show and will be looking to use their experience to get them to the end in first place.

The latest betting odds see the duo move into evens favourites to win ahead of Eugenie and Isabel who are second in the race and second favourites.

Season Four sees the teams race from Japan to Indonesia to win the £20,000 prize

The 4th Season of Race Across The World sees the five teams travel from Sapporo on the island of Hokkaido in Japan and the final checkpoint being in Indonesia on the island of Lombok.

8 episodes of the series will air in total with with four being shown so far and half way through the contest we've already seen various changes to the leaderboard..

Each team has a budget of £1,390 per person which is the same value of a flight between the start and finish destinations and they also cannot use telephones or internet to help them.
