Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is now heavily odds-on to win the PFA Player of the Year award with bookies now making him as short as 1/40.
Haaland has had a record breaking season in the Premier League with 36 goals scored and he may well win the Premier League with Man City this weekend.
His 36 Premier League goals so far this season has seen him break for most goals scored by a player in a single season, with Mo Salah the previous holder with 32 in a 38 game season.
Alan Shearer and Andy Cole both had 34 goals in a 42 game season and Haaland has eclipsed that too and in doing so now has a 97% chance of winning the PFA Player of the Year award.

Although it looks like it's nailed on for Haaland to win the award judging by those betting odds, Kevin De Bruyne and Martin Odegaard will still be hoping for their chances.
Bookies have the pair as the joint second favourites at 20/1 for the award with both players having just a 4.8% chance of winning according to those latest betting odds.
Kevin De Bruyne has won the award twice before and his performances in the past few weeks may well give him a better chance of winning than Odegaard whose Arsenal side have slipped away from the title race.
