Max Verstappen is the clear favourite to win the debut Las Vegas GP this weekend

It's no surprise to see Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen once again favourite with bookies to win another F1 Grand Prix this weekend with the World Champion 1/4 to win the Las Vegas GP.

Verstappen has an 80% chance of winning this weekend's debut race in Vegas according to those betting odds with Red Bull expected to continue their dominance in the sport for yet another race weekend.

OLBG have looked at the weekend's race in Vegas looking into how much spend will take place in the City with tickets at an eye-watering average price of £1100.

With over 300,000 racegoers expected in attendance this weekend, it looks likely according to the odds that they'll be seeing an all too familiar outcome in the race with a Max Verstappen win.

Vegas has had trouble so far with FP1 cancelled and FP2 delayed

The Las Vegas GP has already been marred with controversy already this weekend with Ferrari's Carlos Sainz' session destroyed by a loose drain cover lodging itself out and damaging his car.

FP1 was then cancelled after Sainz his that manhole and damaged his car and reports said that there were more than 140 drain covers around the track that needed to be checked after that.

FP2 was delayed until 2:30am local time with fans ordered to leave the grandstands due to the session starting beyond the curfew time in what has been a trouble start to life in Vegas for Formula 1.

Nevada set for a $1.1 billion boost to the economy

The state of Nevada is expected to have a $1.1 billion boost to its economy due to the Las Vegas GP taking place this weekend as 300,000 racegoers make their way to the event.

75% of those visiting are expected to gamble in a casino whilst attending the Grand Prix as Vegas is set for one of its biggest weekends of the year by far.

The 50-lap race is set to cost an average of $27-per-lap for spectators with an average cost of $1,353 per ticket spent for this weekend's race.
