He has consistently been one of the favourites to dance away with the title, and week-on-week has escaped dance-offs with impressive moves and progression in his ice dancing skillset.

Is Kimberly Wyatt really the outsider?
Note how Kimberly Wyat has been the scoring winner on no fewer than six occasions, scoring 40+ points in the process 3 times. Whilst Gascoigne and Cole have won only 3 shows on scoring, with fewer 40+ scores
While Gascoigne is a clear favourite in the Dancing on Ice Betting and plainly given a huge chance to win by bookmakers, it is not a forlorn hope for Brendan Cole at 15/4 or Kimberly Wyatt, the outsider at 5/1, to cause a shock. They have after all, matched and beaten Regan Gascoigne on the scoring all season.

Each week the couples skate to a live routine.
The judges then score the routine.
The public and judges' scores are combined to create a leaderboard.
Those couples at the bottom of that week's Dancing On Ice leaderboard then have a "Skate Off".
The couples in the "Skate-Off" are then finally judged by the panel.
One couple each week is then voted off the show based solely on the "Skate Off".
In Dancing On Ice 2021 a Golden Ticket allowed a couple to be saved from the public vote, however, this will only feature in the first two weeks.
The Judges on the 4 people "Ice Panel" will be:
- Christopher Dean
- Jayne Torville
- Ashley Banjo
- Oti Mabuse
