The BAFTAs take place this Sunday and bookmakers continue to offer odds on some of the biggest awards on the night including the Leading Actress award.

Emma Stone is now heavily odds-on at 1/4 to win one of the biggest awards on the night with Sandra Huller the second favourite in the market at 6/4.

Stone is nominated for her role in Poor Things where she plays the character Bella Baxter in a spin on Alasdair Gray's 1993 novel.

The latest betting odds from William Hill say that there's an implied probability of 80% that Stone wins the Leading Actress award with Huller's odds giving her a 40% chance.

Oppenheimer was one of the biggest films of 2023 with the 'Barbieheimer' battle between that and Barbie during the summer taking over cinema's by storm.

Cillian Murphy is the main actor in the film, playing the title role J. Robert Oppenheimer, and he is now 1/6 to win the Leading Actor BAFTA award.

The latest betting odds say there's an 85% chance that Murphy wins the Leading Actor BAFTA with his odds putting him ahead of Paul Giamatti in the market.

BAFTAs will take place in London this Sunday evening

The upcoming British Academy Film Awards are scheduled for this Sunday, February 18th, at the prestigious Royal Festival Hall situated within London's Southbank Centre.

Marking his debut as host, David Tennant will present the BAFTAs, which will be televised live in the UK on BBC One and the iPlayer streaming platform.

Oppenheimer is the frontrunner at the show with a remarkable 13 nominations, closely trailed by Poor Things with 11 nods in total.
