Colin Farrell is odds on with bookmakers to win the Leading Actor award at this year's BAFTAs with The Banshees of Inisherin predicted to sweep the show.

With odds of 4/9 to win the Leading Actor award, bookmakers say there's a 69% implied probability that Farrell wins.

Austin Butler has drifted out to third favourite at 9/2 for his title role in the film Elvis despite winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama earlier this month.

Farrell also won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for The Banshees of Inisherin.

The Banshees of Inisherin is the heavy favourite to win Best Film at the 2023 BAFTAs

The Banshees of Inisherin is the 4/9 favourite to win Best Film at the BAFTAs with odds available for one of the big categories at the show.

The British movie is a black-tragicomedy directed and written by Martin McDonagh set on an island off the west coast of Ireland.

William Hill give the film a 69% chance of winning Best Film ahead of Everything Everywhere All At Once which has odds of 2/1 to win the award.

When does the 2023 BAFTAs take place?

This year's BAFTAs awards ceremony is set to take place this Sunday on 19 February at the Royal Festival Hall within London's Southbank Centre.

The ceremony will be held away from the Royal Albert Hall for the first time in 7 years with the 2016 edition previously at the Royal Opera House.

Richard E. Grant was announced as the host of the event with Alison Hammond doing backstage hosting on the BBC.
