Former US President and businessman Donald Trump is the 4/1 favourite with bookmakers to win the 2024 Time Person of the Year award with betting odds already up for next year's prize.
Trump is expected to have a massive 2024 with the US Presidential election taking place in November next year and Trump is running for re-election to a second nonconsecutive term in office.
Bookies unsurprisingly have him as the favourite to win the Time Person of the Year award with the massive personality expected to be in the news no matter the outcome of the election.

A further look into the betting market sees AI as the joint second favourite in the market with Artificial Intelligence getting more and more prominent in daily life.
AI includes Chat GPT with more and more companies using artificial intelligence to help and even replace work forces around the world.
The latest betting odds suggest a 20% chance that AI wins the award alongside Joe Biden who is also joint second favourite at 4/1 in the betting odds.

Taylor Swift won the award this year after a massive 12 months for the singer
Taylor Swift was announced as the 2023 Time Person of the Year last week with the magazine's editor-in-chief Sam Jacobs giving the reasoning behind the decison.
"Swift found a way to transcend borders and be a source of light," said Jacobs piece last Wednesday which went into detail around the pop singer being voted ahead of political leaders around the globe.
The Time Person of the Year is a massive accolade and one that will only contribute further to Swift's global influence.
Time also award CEO of the Year and Athlete of the Year awards with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman winning the CEO award and Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi winning Athlete of the Year.
