Elizabeth Line remains favourite in the betting odds to win this year's Stirling Prize
Betting remains open on this year's RIBA Stirling Prize with Betting Sites continuing to offer odds on who will win one of the most prestigious awards in architecture.
London Underground network the Elizabeth Line remains top of the betting market to win the Stirling Prize with bookies placing the TfL architecture as the 5/4 favourite.
The Elizabeth Line covers 62 miles of track with 10 new stations made for the line itself and a reported 200-plus million passengers a year that travel on the line.
Grimshaw, Maynard, AtkinsRéalis and Equation were the team behind the Elizabeth Line's architecture, focusing across the whole line and many more on individual stations.
William Hill have placed the Elizabeth Line as the favourite with a 44.4% implied probability given that it wins the award in October.

Four of the six nominees are based in London
The Stirling Prize nominees are this year are once again dominated by London-based designs with four out of the six nominees all in England's capital city.
Just Park Hill Phase 2 in Sheffield and Wraxall Yard in Dorset are the two nominees that are situated outside London, with the latter the outsider in the betting odds.
Previously the award has offered a £20,000 prize to the winner, but currently no prize money is offered.
The 2024 Stirling Prize ceremony will be held on 16 October 2024 at the Roundhouse, London with the full nominations as follows:

2023's Stirling Prize was won by The John Morden Centre
Last year's Stirling Prize was awarded to The John Morden Centre which is a retirement day centre in London by Mæ.
The John Morden Centre didn't win just the Stirling Prize but also the London Awards Building of the Year, Brick Awards and the New London Architecture Awards with the building receiving massive praise in the architecture world.
Alex Ely, architect of the building, spoke to the RIBA journal saying, "It is always a shock, you have expectations – hopes and dreams – but I didn’t want to get my hopes up," about winning the Prize.
