I Am Me won first time out this season at Musselburgh on his first run for Ed Bethell after his transfer from Ireland. His subsequent runs at Ascot and Musselburgh were not too bad, but he has dropped back to three pounds above his last winning mark and should go close.

Achieved a 2nd C&D victory in May and was undeniably unfortunate not to place significantly higher when finishing 5th in a handicap here just 8 days ago, blocked from making a move at the home turn and still had energy to spare. Definitely a contender to consider from a yard that is consistently producing winners.

In excellent recent form, boasting 2 wins and 2 seconds in his last 5 starts. He's a proven performer over this C&D, having placed here before. D Tudhope has a strong record on him (2 recent wins), and both Tudhope and trainer David O'Meara have solid strike rates at Pontefract. While he carries a higher weight after recent successes, his consistent form and ideal track experience make him a leading contender.

Two runs this year should have the front-running 5-year-old in good shape now. Down to a very handy mark going off the form he showed last summer.
